IAF shoots down 2 UAV's heading for Israel
Breaking: Fighter jets over Jerusalem, 2 drones intercepted
This comes after locals in Jerusalem raised questions about the increased fighter jet activity, with some speculating that the unusual movements may be linked to a potential infiltration attempt in the Dead Sea region. IDF confirms.

BREAKING: The IDF has reported that two drones, believed to have originated "from the east"—a term often associated with Iraq—were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) moments ago. The drones were successfully neutralized before entering Israeli airspace.
In response to the incident, residents near Jerusalem observed significant activity from Israeli Air Force jets.
The response to the incident by an IDF spokesperson:
"Earlier today, the Air Force intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles that were heading towards Israeli territory from the east. The drones did not enter Israeli airspace. Alerts were triggered in the Dead Sea area in accordance with standard procedures."
