Israel makes bold move, first in 24 years

Hezbollah in shock: Israel's dramatic move deep into Lebanon

For the first time in 24 years, and after doing so in Gaza a few months ago, Israel has deployed self-propelled artillery to the Lebanese village of Shebaa with the aim of extending the range of fire within Lebanon.

While reports of an impending arrangement in the north between Israel and Hezbollah are increasing, the IDF is intensifying its operations in Lebanon and has taken a dramatic step for the first time in 24 years.

According to a report on the Saudi channel "Al Hadath" brought by the 'Mako' website, Israel has introduced self-propelled artillery (SPGs) to the Lebanese village of Shebaa for the first time in 24 years. Let us recall that a few months ago, the Artillery Corps also brought self-propelled howitzers into Gaza to perform direct fire shelling, and it is possible that the goal in Lebanon is similar. Another possibility that has emerged is that the IDF is working to extend the effective firing range of the artillery deeper into Lebanese territory.

Meanwhile, after reports that the IDF ground forces reached a depth of 6 km inside Lebanon—reports that were ignored by official Lebanese sources—Hezbollah, the terrorist organization, acknowledges for the first time that this is indeed the situation.

According to a report by Doron Kedosh on Galei Tzahal, in an official statement from the terrorist organization, Hezbollah officially acknowledged for the first time that IDF ground forces, including armored units, were observed in the village of Shebaa in southern Lebanon. This is a village located on the second line of villages, about 6 km from the border.

This is a devastating blow to Hezbollah, which had already come to terms with the fact that Israel would turn the border-adjacent villages into a security zone, but now it seems that Israel does not intend to stop there and is deepening the blow to Hezbollah.
