Today, (Tuesday), the IDF confirmed the elimination of Islamic Jihad terrorist Anas Muhammad Saadi Masri, commander of the group's rocket unit in northern Gaza, who was killed in an air strike earlier this month.

Masri directed rocket fire on Israel, including during the October 7th massacre, and oversaw countless terror attacks targeting Israeli civilians and soldiers.

The IDF took a number of steps prior to the attack to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precise weaponry, intelligence information, and overflights.
