HORRIFYING: Mahmoud Abbas Praises Released Terrorist Who Murdered 9 Month Old Baby

Released terrorist Yasser Abu Bakr

Abu Bakr, a senior member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, was responsible for the cold-blooded murders of three Israeli civilians, including a nine-month-old baby, during a series of brutal attacks in 2002. After serving 23 years of a 115-year prison sentence, he was released as part of a controversial deal that allows hundreds of terrorists with blood on their hands to walk free.

Abu Bakr was involved in a horrific attack in Netanya in March 2002, in which Israel Yahya and his 9 month old daughter Malka were murdered. He also orchestrated the killing of police officer Konstantin Danilov during a clash with terrorists in Baqa al-Gharbiyye. His terrorist activities didn't stop there; he even planned a suicide bombing at the Tel Hashomer Medical Center. Despite his violent history, Abbas, who heads the Palestinian Authority (PA), chose to publicly call and congratulate Abu Bakr on his release, signalling yet again his support for terrorism.

This act has sparked outrage among Israeli politicians. Avigdor Lieberman, Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, condemned Abbas for once again proving himself to be a supporter of terrorism. Lieberman stated, "Anyone who embraces terrorists with blood on their hands is himself a terrorist, and cannot be a partner in any initiative, especially not to oversee the Rafah crossing."

Itamar Ben Gvir, leader of the Otzma Yehudit party, also criticized the Israeli government for its approach toward the Palestinian Authority, saying that Abbas continues to reward terrorists and encourage a culture of violence. He expressed disbelief that Israel continues to engage with the PA while they release and celebrate convicted murderers.

Bezalel Smotrich, Minister of Finance and leader of the Religious Zionism party, echoed these sentiments, denouncing Abbas as an enemy who fuels terrorism. He warned that anyone who still views the Palestinian Authority as a potential alternative to Hamas in Gaza is fooling themselves. Smotrich emphasized that Abbas’s call to a terrorist responsible for killing a child is a stark reminder of the PA’s true nature.

This latest display of Abbas’s unwavering support for terrorists stands in stark contrast to claims that the Palestinian Authority could one day replace Hamas in Gaza and bring stability to the region. Instead, it serves as a grim reminder that the PA remains deeply entrenched in a culture of violence and terror, making it clear that any notion of peaceful coexistence is far from a reality under Abbas’s leadership.

As this latest incident unfolds, it underscores the need for a reassessment of the international community's approach to the Palestinian leadership and its role in perpetuating the cycle of violence. Abbas’s actions make it clear that he is no partner for peace.
