WATCH: Targeted attack on a vehicle in the Lebanese coastal city of Sidon

Arab networks reported this morning (Friday) that a targeted assassination attempt was made against a vehicle in the coastal city of Sidon in southern Lebanon, about 50 kilometers north of the border with Israel. One person was reportedly injured in the attack.

Dramatic footage from the scene shows the vehicle going up in flames covering the entire scene. Later footage shows the vehicle completely burned, after the fire was extinguished.

Yesterday it was reported that the IDF attacked Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon between Wednesday and Thursday. The IDF Spokesperson said that Hezbollah cynically exploits civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes, and uses the residents of Lebanon as human shields.

The IDF stated that it will act against attempts at reconstruction or military entrenchment under the civilian cover of the terrorist organization.

In addition, the Hezbollah special operations squad commander was killed this week in an airstrike carried out by IDF aircraft in the area of A'tar in southern Lebanon.
