Israeli police have arrested a teenage Bedouin girl from the town of Tel Sheva on suspicion of hanging pro-Hamas posters in the nearby Jewish town of Omer.
The posters, which were reported to authorities on Wednesday afternoon, included references to Gaza and Hamas, as well as the slogan: “Jerusalem is ours.”
Police quickly identified the minor through security camera footage and arrested her during a subsequent house raid for questioning. The incident comes amid heightened tensions and a security crackdown across Israel.
In a statement, the police affirmed their commitment to countering such activities.
"We will use all available means against anyone who incites terrorism, supports the enemy during wartime and undermines the State of Israel and the rule of law."
