BREAKING: One Killed After Gas Balloon Explodes in Jerusalem's Old City

One person was critically injured after a gas balloon exploded in Jerusalem's Old City.

Other people were also injured, to varying degrees.

Magen David Adom reported that at 3:29 p.m. a call was received at the Jerusalem district 101 dispatch center reporting two casualties, apparently following a gas balloon explosion in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. Two wounded are being treated on scene by MDA paramedics and EMTs, one of them in serious condition.

Unfortunately, the 80 year old woman who was critically injured has passed away.

A 50 year old man was seriously injured and is suffering from burns.
