Hatzalah volunteers were dispatched on Monday to Jabotinsky Street in Bnei Brak following a report of a traffic accident in which a private vehicle struck a wall and hit a pedestrian.

The volunteers provided initial medical treatment to a 30-year-old pedestrian and the 26-year-old driver, both of whom suffered injuries to their limbs. They were then evacuated by Magen David Adom ambulance, staffed by Hatzalah volunteers, for further treatment at Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital, where their condition was defined as light.

Recent weeks have seen a number of fatal accidents in the chareidi sector. On the last day, Akiva Leibel z"l, 18, grandson of HaGaon HaRav Dovid Leibel, was killed in a fatal scooter accident on Route 4 near Or Akiva. About two weeks ago, a worker in his 30s was killed after falling from scaffolding at a height of three stories at a construction site in Beit Shemesh.
