i24 presenter Eliraz Sade said this morning (Wednesday), with half the votes counted, that it is becoming clear neither bloc can form a government.
"Netanyahu went for double or nothing. He won," Shadeh said. "No one will sit with the Arab parties after October 7. Eisenkot will fade by the next election, we saw what happened to Gantz. And if they didn't beat Netanyahu after October 7, when will they?"
"Apparently you can only beat Netanyahu from the right. Netanyahu will continue to serve and won't leave the chair voluntarily, so the only solution is to break campaign promises and create a draft government under Netanyahu, with Eisenkot as defense minister, and start working instead of trying to knock each other out forever."
Sade warned that turnout this high will not repeat in the next election, and that voters will become disillusioned. "Still, just not another election. It's dangerous for Israel. Israeli Arabs came out of the closet full force and voted for Hadash-Ta'al's 'Hamas is a charity organization,' and he's the 'moderate' there, that's what's in their hearts."
"If you want sanctions on chareidim for the draft, then it's certainly time for sanctions on Israeli Arabs."
