The accident scene

Seven people were injured Tuesday evening in a traffic accident involving three vehicles on Route 232 at the entrance to Mefalsim in southern Israel. Medics and paramedics from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah, working alongside an IDF medical team, provided initial treatment at the scene before evacuating the wounded to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon.

MDA reported that four of the injured are in moderate condition: a man around 70 with multi-system trauma, a 38-year-old woman with multi-system trauma, a 25-year-old man with chest and limb injuries, and a 25-year-old woman with a pelvic injury. The remaining three sustained light injuries.

United Hatzalah medics Dubi Margalit, Yechiel Rosenberg and Yehuda Shaoubi said: "This was an accident involving three vehicles. We provided medical treatment at the scene to seven injured people, including two men and a woman, ages approximately 25 to 35, in moderate condition, and four additional injured in light condition. They were then evacuated for further treatment at the hospital."
