Journalist: Form govt with Arab parties

Chaim Levinson, formerly of Haaretz, says including Ra'am and the Joint List in a coalition is a civic duty and criticises disqualification of Arab MK

Chaim Levinson, who previously worked as a journalist at Haaretz and recently joined 100Shetach News, a channel active on social media and particularly on Telegram, said Wednesday on Radio 103FM that Israel should form a government with the Arab parties.

"As a civic duty, we must form a government with the Ra'am and Joint List parties," he said in the broadcast.

Levinson accused Prime Minister Netanyahu, claiming that Netanyahu himself in the past did not go to war against Hamas and conquer the Gaza Strip because there was no consensus, so one cannot come with complaints only when it concerns Arabs.

He also argued that Sami Abu Shehadeh should not have been disqualified.
