Thousands of Jews are expected to take part in Toronto's annual Walk With Israel parade today (Sunday), even as provocative pro-Palestinian protestors are expected to clash with the paraders.

Canada has been witness to a sharp increase in antisemitic and anti-Israeli attacks ever since October 7, including arson and shooting attacks against synagogues and Jewish institutions.
The Israeli National Security Council even raised its threat level for Israelis in the country following news that pro-Palestinians involved in a violent anti-Israel demonstration in Amsterdam were heading to Canada to clash with participants in the Toronto parade.
Canada itself has also become increasingly hostile towards Israel over the course of the war, supporting arms embargos against the country and recently demanding Israel end the latest IDF operations in the Strip in a joint letter with Britain and France or face "consequences."
