As the streets of Tehran, Isfahan, and Tabriz burn with the most significant wave of anti-regime protests in decades, the eyes of the world are turning toward the inevitable question of foreign involvement.

While the Iranian people are the engine of this revolution, the West, led by the United States and Israel, possesses the technical and military levers to remove the obstacles in their path.

The scenario being discussed in intelligence circles does not involve boots on the ground but rather a surgical dismantling of the regime's oppressive capabilities.

The primary mechanism for this joint operation would likely be the severing of the connection between the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and their subordinate Basij militias.

Israel has already demonstrated its deep penetration of Iranian security networks. In a coordinated scenario, cyber capabilities would be used to blind the regime's communication channels, preventing the coordination of crackdowns, while simultaneously flooding the country with satellite internet access to ensure protestors can organize and broadcast their struggle to the world.

Beyond the digital realm, American financial pressure would shift from sanctions to asset seizure and direct funding of strike funds for striking oil workers and bazaar merchants.

If the regime cannot pay its enforcers, the loyalty of the rank-and-file security forces will crumble.

This external pressure, combined with precise, low-signature strikes on IRGC command centers attributed to internal defectors, would create a vacuum of authority.

The goal is not an invasion but the creation of a safe space for the millions of Iranians already on the streets to storm the palaces of power without facing a coordinated massacre.
