Protest Outside Smotrich's Home

"Brothers in arms" outside Smotrich's residence: "another racist"

This morning, the protest of the reservists group "Brothers in Arms" arrived outside the home of Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich. They stated, "Your opinions are not relevant to the majority of the citizens of the State of Israel"

A large demonstration of the reservists "Brothers in Arms" is taking place this morning (Thursday) in front of the house of the Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich.

The organizers of the protest called on the demonstrators to arrive at 5:30 in the early morning at a gathering point in Petah Tikva, and from there to travel by organized buses to Smotrich's residence. "We will initiate bus movement towards the destination. The activity will take place in the Judea and Samaria region," it was written to the protesters. "Required equipment: 'Brothers in Arms' shirt, closed walking shoes, and noise-making instruments."

The protesters used horns and lit torches at the site, alongside a representation of "Covenant Tablets" that they set up. They further noted that they had come to the location to "wish Smotrich a good morning and explain that he is not relevant." They directly addressed the Minister of Finance, saying, "Your opinions are not relevant to the majority of the citizens of the State of Israel."

According to the organizers, "The reservists arrived in protest over the fact that security in Israel and Judea and Samaria is at a low ebb, and in order to remind the failed minister of the five commandments and sources he abandoned in favor of promoting a racist Kahanist agenda of Jewish superiority."

Eyal Naveh, one of the leaders of the reservists' protest, stated at the demonstration, "Another racist. Good morning to those who belittle IDF commanders. Shame. Those who never served in the army in their lives and neglect the security of IDF soldiers. Good morning to those who undermine the Israeli economy and turn it into ruin, with God's help."

The "Brothers in Arms" reservist protest also stated: "Smotrich removed Gallant from the Ministry of Defense and holds a position that is superior to him. He promotes the 'decision plan' for the establishment of a state for Jews only, backs the Hawara militia and abandons the IDF soldiers in Hague. If he does not remember that Judaism has a tradition of mutual respect and inclusion, we will remind him. The failed minister will not succeed in his efforts to promote the coup that will realize his goals and we will be there to stop him."
