Iran Fires Missiles - 10 Million Israelis Take Cover as Sirens Sound Nationwide
After hours of tense waiting, Iran has finally fired a salvo of missiles at Israel.


Following several failed launch attempts overnight - thwarted by the Israeli Air Force - Israel has now detected that a number of Iranian missile systems have successfully launched missiles toward Israel. All residents across Israel were instructed to immediately enter protected shelters and remain there until further notice.
The IDF released the following statement:
"A short while ago, sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward the State of Israel.
"The public is requested to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command.
"At this time, the IAF is operating to intercept and strike where necessary to eliminate the threat.
"The defense is not hermetic, therefore, it is essential to continue following the instructions of the Home Front Command."
Israelis from the north to the south are encouraged to seek shelter.
Authorities are reporting multiple missile hits throughout the country.
Observers on social media and elsewhere are reporting at least one impact on a building in Israel and multiple hits elsewhere.
Amit Segal reported that two Iranian missile impacts have been reported. At least one struck a residential building.
At least one person has been seriously injured by the missile salvo.
At least twenty people are reported injured so far from the hits in Tel-Aviv and Petach-Tikva, including a child.
Beilinson Hospital reports admitting 12 wounded to the hospital, one of whom is moderately wounded and 11 lightly.
Magen David Adom said that it has evacuated 29 wounded from the missile attacks, 3 of whom are moderately wounded and the rest lightly wounded. It also reported that at least three people were killed in the latest salvo.
Following the impact, The IDF released this statement:
"The Home Front Command published that it is now permitted to leave protected spaces in several areas across the country.
"The public is requested to continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command."
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that "The coming days will be difficult and challenging for Israel.
"But we are removing an existential threat — we have no other choice.”
