While the U.S. and Israel demonstrated undisputed aerial and naval superiority during the recent campaign, the ambitious goal of regime change remains unfulfilled.

Regime Resilience: Instead of collapsing, the leadership in Tehran has consolidated power, with the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) tightening their internal grip.

Early reports of total destruction were premature. Analysts now believe a significant portion of Iran’s missile and drone arrays remain intact or repairable.

The war also proved that Iran’s most effective weapon wasn't its nuclear program, but its ability to choke the global economy. This economic shock forced President Trump to shift from aggressive rhetoric to seeking a diplomatic exit.

Washington has reportedly offered a generous economic relief package in exchange for restrictions on Iran's enriched uranium and the full reopening of the Strait.

Contrary to celebratory headlines, Iran is not rushing to sign a deal.

Tehran is dragging its feet to extract maximum legitimacy and even better terms, knowing that the West is desperate for market stability.

From Jerusalem’s viewpoint, the current situation is deeply concerning. The fear is that a weak or ambiguous deal will leave Iran:

1. Battered but Capable: with Its core nuclear and military infrastructure remaining functional.

2. Strategically Emboldened: Iran has "tested" its ability to stand up to a combined U.S.-Israeli offensive and survived.

What we are witnessing is not a victory, but a fragile ceasefire. Much like the situations in Gaza and Lebanon, this round has ended without a clear resolution. In the Middle East, that usually means the next round is already on the horizon.
