Before the dramatic discussion on the reduction of the reason for reasonableness, Justice Minister Yariv Levin launched a sharp attack against the judges of the High Court: "a fatal injury to democracy and to the status of the Knesset"

Rothman responds to the Supreme Court's decision to disqualify organizations from the national camp from joining as friends of the court in the appeal against the reduction of the Clause of Reasonability: "The Supreme Court has no boundaries. And in a democracy, there must not be an authority with unlimited powers"

No organization from the national camp was approved to join as a friend of the court in the petition against the Clause of Reasonability by the High Court of Justice: "Even the appearance of justice the court no longer tries to maintain"

After submitting the petition to the High Court against the reduction of the Clause of Reasonability and the joining of many protest organizations to the petition, the 'If You Will' movement submitted a request to join the hearing as a 'friend of the court'

There appears to be a dramatic change in the composition of the judges who will hear the petition against the reduction of the Clause of Reasonability. Judge Ofer Grosskopf will have to prevent himself from participating in the hearing, due to his relationship with the attorney chosen to represent the government
