On the last day of the role. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant approved the covering of the Cave of the Patriarchs following efforts by the head of the Kiryat Arba-Hevron Council, Israel Baramson. The decision will ease the experience for the thousands of visitors who frequent the holy site.
