Spyker, the Dutch supercar manufacturer that has weathered numerous financial setbacks and attempted comebacks over the years, has unveiled a new model marking yet another fresh start. The vehicle, called the C8 Preliator XXV Coupé, maintains the distinctive design language the company is known for while incorporating updated components and performance capabilities suited to today's supercar landscape.
At the heart of the machine sits a 4.0-liter V8 engine equipped with twin turbochargers, sourced from Audi. According to Spyker, the powerplant generates approximately 800 horsepower and roughly 1,000 Newton-meters of torque. Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, an uncommon choice for vehicles with this level of performance.
