Tucker's tinfoil tango: Blames Chabad for igniting Iran war to rebuild the Temple? From menorahs to missiles, is he cooked or just craving clicks?

Just when you thought the U.S.-Iran fireworks couldn't get any weirder, Tucker Carlson drops a bombshell monologue that's got everyone from Jewish leaders to his own fans wondering if he's swapped his sweater for a tinfoil hat. In a clip from his March 4 show on the Tucker Carlson Network, the former Fox host allegedly fingered Chabad-Lubavitch, yes, the folks famous for menorahs, mitzvah tanks, and free Shabbat dinners, as the shadowy puppet masters pulling strings to ignite a "holy war" against Iran.

According to a viral X post by journalist Joel Mowbray (@joelmowbray), who shared the exclusive snippet, Carlson spelled out "C-H-A-B-A-D" for his audience like it was a spelling bee for conspiracy theorists. He claimed the real goal behind the U.S.-Israeli strikes isn't nukes or security – oh no – it's to bulldoze the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem to rebuild the Third Temple. And who's allegedly masterminding this apocalyptic remodel? Chabad, apparently, because... reasons involving ancient prayers and a dash of end-times fever dream.

Mowbray called it "beyond preposterous" and downright dangerous, noting Chabad's real focus is on community outreach, not global domination. (Think: helping secular Jews light candles, not lighting fuses under mosques.) He tied it to a subtle jab at Trumpworld, pointing out Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's ties to a D.C. Chabad synagogue, as if that's the smoking gun for Operation Epic Fury.

Critics like Mowbray warn this could fuel real-world threats against Chabad centers, which have already faced terror attacks, like last December's horror in Bondi Beach.

X is ablaze with reactions: "Tucker's gone full looney psycho!!" tweeted one user, while another quipped, "What kind of person has issue with Chabad? Everybody likes Chabad."

Even Carlson's defenders seem baffled, with some calling it his "most absurd claim to date."

For context, Carlson's been no fan of the Iran ops from day one, slamming them as "absolutely disgusting and evil" and pinning it all on Netanyahu's "demands."

But linking Chabad, a group whose "holy war" strategy is basically more kindness and good deeds to merit the Messiah, to airstrikes? That's next-level cooked. As one commenter put it: "Chabad are literally the most peaceful and non-militant Jews there are. This is pure evil."

Chabad leadership hasn't responded yet, but whispers of beefed-up security and potential defamation suits are swirling.

Meanwhile, if Tucker's hunting for villains, maybe start with the ayatollahs...
