Rabbi Yosef Sorotzkin was educated at the Telshe, Ponovezh, and Lakewood yeshivas. Following his marriage, he pursued further Torah study at the Brisk Yeshiva. He taught at Yeshiva Emek HaHalacha in Brooklyn and later founded Yeshivat Meor Eliyahu in Kiryat Telshe Stone, where he continues to serve as Rosh Yeshiva.
