Israel Police Surprised to Find Hundreds of Drugs in Vehicle
A Ramle resident was arrested after dozens of grams of hashish, a kilogram of cannabis, and other drugs were found in his vehicle. The court extended his detention for three days.

A 38-year-old Ramle resident was arrested yesterday (Saturday) when routine police vehicle inspections found him in possession of drugs and tens of thousands of shekels in cash.
According to the statement by the Israel Police, while conducting the inspection, the officers smelled a strong aroma of drugs and when they searched the vehicle, they found and seized cannabis-type drugs weighing 1.2 kg, 148.5 grams, 26.5 grams of cocaine, MDMA, hallucinogenics of various types. Tens of thousands of shekels in cash, and a digital scale. Once the inspection was ended, the driver – a 38-year-old Ramle resident, was arrested and interrogated at the police station and then jailed.
In accordance with the investigation’s findings and the evidence presented by the police, the Hadera Peace Ourt extended the suspect’s detention until this Thursday, January 24th.
