Superintendent Neil Holyoak, who led the operation, stated, “We recognize the right to peaceful protest, but we are duty-bound to act when it becomes severely disruptive or criminal. The arrests follow weeks of protests targeting the film’s locations across London, driven by Gadot’s Israeli nationality and public support for Israel. Two of the arrested were wanted for prior incidents, while three were detained for their actions that day. Filming had paused over the weekend due to earlier protests but resumed this week.
