His funeral took place at midnight at the Shamgar Funeral Home, followed by burial at Har HaMenuchot.

The tragic incident occurred last Wednesday when Nathan Tzvi, who had left a care facility in the Ramat Shlomo area, entered the Ramot building and accidentally ignited the fire. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing two floors and putting residents at serious risk.

Firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the scene, working courageously to evacuate residents and contain the blaze. Nathan Tzvi was rescued unconscious due to smoke inhalation.

Paramedic Shuki Becker of United Hatzalah described a critical moment en route to the hospital: “During transport in the ambulance, the child’s heart stopped. I performed advanced life-saving resuscitation, including defibrillation, and his heart restarted. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.”

Despite the heroic efforts of medical teams over the following week, Nathan Tzvi’s condition deteriorated. Physicians announced his death yesterday evening, leaving the community in deep mourning.
