Giggles, gifts and a snub

Comedian Ami Kozak has taken the internet by storm with a uproarious Donald Trump impression, poking fun at the president’s knack for scoring lavish gifts from global players, except, apparently, from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu.

Delivered with Trump’s signature bravado, Kozak cracked us up as he rattled off a list of absurd presents from Qatar, the Houthis, and China.

Kozak kicked things off with a boast straight from the dealmaker’s playbook: “Qatar is giving us a plane. They owe us a plane. We've done a lot for them.”

This is especially hilarious because Qatar is, in fact, gifting Trump with an incredibly opulent jet.

Then he asks if there are any other gifts.

The person he is talking to explains: “The Houthis are giving us a boat."

Trump gushes, "A boat! A beautiful ship. We could use a nice beautiful Houthi boat. We could have a great time with it. They owe us one after what we've done - no question about it. We could take it out in the summer time, I think that's great. We could call it a Houthi boat, maybe a yacht.”

Trump reveals China’s contribution: “China wants to give [me] a new cellphone with all the apps pre installed, that's fantastic. I could use a new phone. It's great to have a phone. We have to talk to each other.” He deadpanned, “all the apps are pre installed, thats a big headache, we don't want to have to do that. We're going to take the China phone and talk on it.”

Tying it together, Kozak’s Trump marvels at the gift pile: “So many gifts, its like Hanukkah all over again.”

But the kicker came when Kozak addresses Israel’s absence from the gift-giving spree. “Actually Bibi had a gift for you,” the other person says, before Kozak's Trump answers: “Not right now,” in a sharp jab at U.S.-Israel dynamics.
