Yemeni "National Resistance" forces have released rare visual documentation of a maritime interception that exposes a critical supply line in the regional security landscape. The footage, authorized for publication by Yemen's Maritime Security Council approximately one week ago, shows the seizure of a smuggling vessel packed with sensitive electronic components.

The operation was conducted based on precise intelligence. It reveals the technological lifeline that Iran's Revolutionary Guards provide to Houthi militias, a direct threat to international shipping freedom and Israeli national security. The intercepted cargo proves that Tehran continues to arm proxy forces despite international sanctions.

The vessel's hold contained essential components for attack drones and similar weapons systems, according to official statements by forces spokesman Sadiq Duwaid.

The seized items included guidance and control systems, navigation and steering components designed to direct unmanned vehicles toward strategic targets with precision and radio devices, wireless phones, antennas, and advanced equipment for real-time video transmission and processing. These systems enable operators to maintain visual contact with targets until the moment of impact. Investigators also found specialized electronic components for fuel injection systems in engines, technology that dramatically extends the operational range of aerial platforms.

Iran, operating through an extensive network of shell companies worldwide, successfully circumvents international sanctions by purchasing these components from countries including China, Germany, Japan, and the United States. In workshops across Yemen, these parts are then assembled into lethal weapons costing only thousands of dollars, systems that force Western militaries and Israel to deploy interceptors worth millions in response.

Several months ago, Iran smuggled senior Revolutionary Guard commanders and advanced military equipment to Yemen via covert flights, aiming to enhance Houthi missile and drone capabilities.
