Likud accuses Eisenkot of abandoning promises, working with pro-terrorism parties
The Likud party issued a statement accusing Eisenkot and his partners of betraying Israeli citizens' trust by breaking promises about cooperation with parties that support terrorism and attempting to form a government with them. The statement also criticized them for abandoning the issue of ultra-Orthodox military conscription after years of attacking the ultra-Orthodox community, calling it a display of contempt driven by "lust for power." The party declared "this must not be allowed to happen."
