LNG tanker struck by projectile near Strait of Hormuz

The Al Mayeda, a vessel transporting Qatari LNG to Pakistan, was struck by a projectile near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday. Iran had cleared the ship's passage just hours before the incident following Pakistani negotiations for safe transit. The attack's circumstances remain unclear.
