Two oil tankers explode in Strait of Hormuz after striking naval mines, IRGC Navy reports

Two oil tankers exploded while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz without authorization from the Persian Gulf Security Authority and with their AIS tracking systems turned off, according to Iran's IRGC Navy. The vessels struck naval mines, triggering a large fire aboard one of the tankers. No information on casualties has been released.
