In a recent interview with local American media, US Vice President J.D. Vance offered insight into President Donald Trump's forceful messaging toward Iran on social media.
According to Vance, the president's sharp statements are designed to send a clear warning to Iranian leadership: it's time to de-escalate and shift their approach, or they will face severe repercussions.
Addressing one of Trump's recent posts that threatened action against Kharg Island, Vance explained the president's communication strategy. "The president likes to mix things up a bit on social media. He would be the first to tell you that he doesn't announce military operations on social media," Vance said.
"I think he's trying to send a message to the Iranians that it's time to change course, and fast," the vice president added.
