North West doesn't need to worry about making ends meet. The 13-year-old daughter of reality TV mogul Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West has grown up surrounded by extraordinary wealth, her family's fortune is measured in billions of dollars. Yet in a recent interview with Dazed magazine, she revealed an unexpected ambition: she wants to get an ordinary job.
Despite already launching her own music career, North told the magazine she plans to find work next year like any other teenager. She even knows where she'd like to apply: the international coffee chain Starbucks.
"I still want to work," North explained in the interview. "I want to work at a place like Starbucks next year. When I'm 14, I want to have a regular job, I guess."
The statement stands in stark contrast to the life she's known since birth. Her mother Kim Kardashian has built a business empire worth billions, while her father Kanye West created his own dynasty spanning music and fashion. North herself has been in the public eye virtually since she was born and has already begun developing her own professional career at a young age.
