The Israeli defense establishment has entered a high state of operational readiness, finalizing battle procedures to resume the war against Iran if diplomatic efforts in Washington and Pakistan fall through. Despite the current ceasefire, the IDF Intelligence Division and the Mossad are maintaining an intense, around the clock watch on the Revolutionary Guard and the top tier of the Iranian regime. During a critical situational assessment held this Thursday with Defense Minister Israel Katz, senior officials presented what they described as "disturbing developments" within Iran that suggest the regime may be hedging its bets despite the progress in negotiations.

The strategic cooperation between the IDF and the Trump administration has reached unprecedented levels in recent weeks. Security sources indicate that the military bond between Jerusalem and Washington has "ascended several stages," characterized by mutual trust and deep intelligence sharing. Military leadership, under the guidance of Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, believes that the United States currently holds a position of immense leverage over the Iranians. However, the prevailing sentiment within the General Staff is that this leverage must be pushed to its absolute limit to ensure a definitive end to the threat. "The Iranians are under immense pressure from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and we see this clearly," a security official noted, adding that while Israel’s operational achievements have been historically high, the Iranian regime has not yet lost everything and remains a potent threat.

The core of the dispute remains the non negotiable demands set by Israel and supported by the Trump administration. These include the total abandonment of the Iranian nuclear project and the immediate removal of 460 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent from Iranian soil. Senior defense figures have warned that if these conditions are not met, the recommendation to the political echelon will be an immediate return to combat. Unlike previous rounds, officials are making it clear that the next phase of fighting would target national infrastructure to extract an unbearable price from the regime.

Israel is treading carefully to avoid what officials call "slippery agreements" that lack clarity and enforceable red lines. "Israel must ensure that its demands are included in any emerging agreement," a senior source emphasized. If the negotiations collapse, the IDF Operations Division is prepared to translate the current battle procedures into a massive, multi branch strike. The message to Tehran is clear: the ceasefire is a window for surrender, not a pause for recovery, and the Israeli military is prepared to shut that window the moment it becomes a liability.
