A New Front Opens: Israel Strikes the Al-Shara Regime in Syria
On the 20th day of the war, the Israeli Air Force conducted a massive wave of strikes across four countries, targeting the Iranian capital, Syrian infrastructure, and terrorist leaders in Gaza and Lebanon.

The 20th day of the war against the Iranian regime and its proxies has seen the most extensive and geographically diverse operations by the IDF to date. In a single 24 hour period, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) conducted high intensity strikes across four separate fronts: Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip. The operations ranged from the heart of Tehran to the Caspian Sea, marking the first time Israeli forces have targeted Iranian naval assets in that northern region. As the total number of combat sorties since the start of the war surpasses 5,700, the military continues to focus on stripping the Iranian axis of its strategic assets and its senior command personnel.
Devastation in the Iranian Heartland
The Iranian front remained the primary focus of the IAF’s activity over the last day. For the first time, Israeli jets targeted and destroyed Iranian missile boats in the Caspian Sea, proving that no part of the Islamic Republic is out of reach. In central Iran, an Mi-17 military helicopter was destroyed on the tarmac at Sandaj Airport in Hamadan. In total, more than 130 military infrastructures were hit in less than 24 hours, with heavy bombardment concentrated on Tehran and the Noor region to the east. The scale of the air war is unprecedented, with over 12,000 munitions dropped on Iranian soil since the opening of the campaign, nearly a third of which were directed at high value targets within the capital city itself.
Crushing the Proxies
While the air war raged over Iran, the IDF continued to dismantle the regime's regional puppets. In the Gaza Strip, the intelligence chief for the Hamas terrorists in Khan Yunis was eliminated in a precision strike, further blinding the remnants of the group's leadership. In Southern Lebanon, elite units from Division 36, supported by constant air cover, neutralized over 20 Hezbollah terrorists during close quarters combat along the border. The IAF has now conducted over 1,000 sorties in Lebanon alone, striking 2,000 targets ranging from mobile rocket launchers to strategic headquarters. Additionally, a direct front was opened against the Al-Shara regime in Syria after Syrian forces targeted Druze populations in the Al-Suwayda area, leading to a swift Israeli response against Syrian military infrastructure.
