That's A Surprise
Syrian President Julani confirms talks with Israel
The confirmation comes following reports of secret talks brokered by a third party to discuss vital issues.

During a meeting today (Wednesday) with French President Emanuel Macron, Syrian President al-Julani admitted that his country is conducting indirect talks with Israel regarding the situation in southern Syria to prevent things going "out of control," according to Kann reporter Roi Kais.
Julani complained of the multiple strikes Israel has carried out in southern Syria, both against terrorists and in the name of protecting minorities such as the Druze. Julani said that in the new Syria, there is no room for interethnic conflict and that all sides are committed to that.
He further said that Syria is committed to the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement on the border with the Golan Heights, and that he hopes UN forces return and the IDF withdraw behind the international border.
