"Worse Than Extremist Proposals."

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance, Kata'ib Hezbollah, issued a fiery denunciation of the proposed US plan, accusing the former president of being a 'torturer' and the official sponsor of Israeli brutality.

Kata'ib Hezbollah, a prominent faction within the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, has issued a scathing critique of the United States for its unwavering support of what they describe as Israel's "brutal" actions against the Palestinian people. The group specifically criticized President Donald Trump, labelling him the "entity's official sponsor" and accusing him of proposing an initiative they deem more extreme than those of Israeli ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich. The statement portrays Trump’s proposal as a deceptive maneuver, filled with "traps" that undermine Palestinian interests i.e. to remain in power and commit more terror attacks against Israel and the Jewish people.

The group expressed skepticism about the U.S. acting as an impartial mediator, arguing it is "unreasonable for a torturer to appoint himself as a judge" while claiming fairness. They assert that nearly two years of relentless violence have devastated Palestinian communities, leaving "neither stone nor man untouched." Despite this, Kata'ib Hezbollah emphasized the enduring resilience of the Palestinian people, whose "blood-drenched dignity" remains unbroken amid ongoing massacres and displacement. Off course there is no mention of the October 7th massacre against the Israeli people by Hamas or how that was what triggered the ongoing war in Gaza.

Kata'ib Hezbollah praised the Palestinian resistance, expressing confidence in its leaders' ability to turn threats into opportunities for steadfastness. They believe the patience and determination of Palestinians will pave the way for independence and liberation, thwarting efforts to undermine their cause. The group called on Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their responsibilities during this critical period by supporting the Palestinian people’s legitimate demands. They urged these nations to honour Palestinian sacrifices and recognize their right to a dignified life on their ancestral land ignoring both facts and basic history of the region for propaganda.

The statement reflects broader regional tensions, with terror groups like Hamas maintaining control over Gaza and using hostages as leverage, prolonging suffering for both Palestinians and others caught in the war. Kata'ib Hezbollah’s remarks shows such groups have no interest in peace initiatives instead offering pathetic excuses that it favours Israel, advocating instead for Palestinian self-determination whilst also prolonging the war and the suffering of the hostages who remain in captivity.
