An initial military investigation has revealed that the severe wounding of the Commander of the 401st Brigade, Colonel Meir Biderman, was part of a highly coordinated, large scale drone assault executed by terror networks in southern Lebanon. The strategic briefing indicates that the targeted structure was hit by at least six distinct explosive drones during a relentless, multi hour bombardment. The event marks one of the most sophisticated uses of remote aerial weaponry encountered by frontline forces since the commencement of the current war.

According to the official tactical timeline, the incident began early in the morning after the primary combat team returned from a complex overnight raid into hostile territory alongside the Brigade Commander. At approximately seven fifty, a sentry positioned at the forward security post successfully identified an incoming remote aircraft and initiated an emergency alert. Seconds later, an explosive drone detonated directly against the upper floor of the structure, causing immediate structural collapse and inflicting severe injuries upon Colonel Biderman and two accompanying combatants.

The tactical situation degraded rapidly over the next hour as emergency teams attempted to extract the casualties under continuous threat of aerial bombardment. Evacuation units successfully transferred the wounded personnel into armored vehicles by eight ten, transferring them to a nearby landing zone where a military helicopter evacuated the two most critical patients, while a third was moved via civilian ambulance. However, when the remaining support team returned to the structure at eight forty five, a subsequent explosive drone struck the building, while another directly impacted an adjacent ammunition truck, triggering massive secondary explosions and a violent fire.

The stranded force was subjected to a prolonged siege as additional explosive aircraft continued to strike the perimeter while troops prepared to abandon the compromised outpost. By ten o'clock, the initial breakout element identified another approaching drone, managing to neutralize the threat with concentrated small arms fire before it could detonate near the personnel. Following the incapacitation of Colonel Biderman, the chief of brigade staff has assumed temporary operational command of the elite unit to maintain frontline continuity.

Prior to his injury, Colonel Biderman had delivered an insightful assessment regarding the ongoing war, emphasizing that the deployment of elite forces along the frontier served as a critical buffer protecting northern civilian settlements from Hezbollah terrorists. The commander noted that the terrorist organization had sustained devastating, irreversible blows to its leadership structure and material capabilities throughout the campaign. Biderman concluded that the current war has effectively stripped the group of its political mask, demonstrating to the global community that the organization does not exist to protect the Lebanese population, but rather functions strictly as an Iranian shield.
