Moshe Feiglin, head of the Zehut party, launched a sharp attack against Gadi Eisenkot, former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces and former war cabinet member, during a radio interview this week. Speaking on the "Medabrim Gordon" interview program with host Roy Katz, broadcast on Radio Haifa in partnership with Gordon Academic College, Feiglin criticized Eisenkot's security approach and made controversial remarks about the former general's personal tragedy.
"Bereavement doesn't add wisdom, it doesn't add knowledge," he said, referring to Eisenkot, who lost his son in combat. Feiglin held Eisenkot accountable for the security doctrine that preceded the war, stating that "he largely led the conception that resulted in there being no army there on October 7th."
