Videos circulating online are intensifying outrage over the stark contrast between the fate of Israeli hostages in Gaza and the lavish meals enjoyed by their terrorist captors. The new footage, highlighted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), shows Hamas operatives eating full-course feasts just meters away from the starving Israelis they continue to hold in captivity.
Two of the hostages, Evyatar David and Rom Braslavski, were recently shown in harrowing condition: emaciated, weak, and visibly suffering from severe malnutrition. Their appearance has drawn chilling comparisons to the “Muselmann” of the Holocaust, a German term once used to describe concentration camp prisoners so debilitated by hunger disease and exhaustion that they had given up on life.
