In a significant escalation of military operations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Israeli Air Force fighter jets have completed a series of precision strikes against Iran’s surface-to-surface missile infrastructure. The campaign, carried out in recent hours, was guided by real-time intelligence from the IDF Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) and specifically targeted the strategic missile capabilities of the Iranian regime.

According to the official military statement, the operation successfully destroyed dozens of missile launchers, storage facilities for surface-to-surface missiles, and other key military sites. One of the more notable targets was a unique launch mechanism discovered in western Iran, concealed inside cargo containers a tactic aimed at obscuring the location and readiness of missile systems.

Throughout the ongoing conflict, the Iranian regime has launched hundreds of surface-to-surface missiles toward Israeli territory. The IDF emphasized that neutralizing these threats remains a vital mission to ensure the safety and security of Israeli citizens. “The destruction of these missile sites directly contributes to the defense of the Israeli home front,” the statement noted.

A particularly alarming detail highlighted by the IDF is that Iran’s missile arsenal includes rockets capable of striking targets thousands of kilometers away. The continued possession and deployment of such long-range missiles by the Iranian regime is viewed not only as a direct threat to Israel but as a destabilizing force across the entire Middle East and beyond.

The airstrikes form part of the broader Operation “Im K’Lavi” (“With a Lion’s Heart”), a multi-phase campaign aimed at crippling Iran’s strategic military infrastructure. While no further operational details were provided, IDF officials confirmed that additional strikes remain a possibility depending on evolving threats.

As tensions in the region intensify, the message from Jerusalem is clear: Israel will not allow Iran’s missile power to go unchecked.
