The battle in Gaza continues, with the IDF releasing new footage and a detailed update from the past 24 hours — including the elimination of multiple terrorists and the destruction of key Hamas infrastructure.

Under the direction of Southern Command, with intelligence guidance from the IDF Intelligence Directorate and the Shin Bet, IDF forces continue to target terrorist operatives across the Gaza Strip.

Sniper Neutralized in the North

In northern Gaza, Division 162 forces continued their operations. On Sunday, a combat team from the 401st Brigade closed in and eliminated a terrorist sniper who had opened fire at them, lightly wounding an IDF soldier.

Additionally, the 215th Fire Brigade identified and killed Hamas terrorists in support of maneuvering ground forces.

Underground Terror Sites Destroyed in Khan Yunis

In the south, Division 36 forces continued operations in the Khan Yunis area. Over the past day, they destroyed several significant and strategic underground terror sites and eliminated terrorists who posed threats to the forces, using both ground and aerial strikes.

Protecting the Gaza Envelope

Division 99 troops continue working to protect Israeli communities near the Gaza border. In the last 24 hours, they destroyed terror tunnels and killed terrorists who threatened the troops in the field.

Airstrike Stops Terror Cell Planting Explosives

In southern Gaza, forces from the 6th Brigade, operating under the Gaza Division (143), spotted a terrorist cell attempting to plant explosive devices near IDF forces. An Israeli Air Force aircraft closed the loop, striking and killing the terrorists.
