Israeli and American security officials assess that the damage to the nuclear conversion facility in Isfahan has managed to incapacitate it for a long time. The immediate implication: the danger of Iran breaking out to a nuclear bomb within a few months has been removed, at least for now, according to a report by Ron Ben-Yishai on Ynet.

This assessment comes as part of the evaluation of the damage caused by the Israeli Air Force in Operation Rising Lion. It appears that the strike on the facility in Isfahan, combined with the assassination of key scientists in the Iranian weapons group, represents the most significant and important achievement of the Israeli opening strike.

However, Ben Yishai emphasizes that this is not the end of the campaign. The damage to the Iranian military nuclear development and production framework is still planned. Israel's long-term goal is to roll back the Iranian nuclear program by many years.

After achieving this objective, Israel is expected to turn to the diplomatic channel. The aim is to allow the United States to negotiate a renewed nuclear agreement that will be acceptable and valid for the State of Israel and ensure its security.
