Report: Iran acquired trigger and components for making nuke

A senior Israeli source speaking to Israeli media said that Iran had acquired the components for a trigger and explosive device needed to make at least one nuclear weapon. Waiting for even one week would have allowed Iran to become a nuclear power.

Multiple Israeli sources have spoken of how Iran was speeding up its nuclear weapons program to the point that the strategic window of preventing Iran from having nuclear weapons capable of being sent on ballistic missiles to destroy Israel was close to closing. Thus, negotiations or no, Israel had to launch Operation Rising Lion.
