Lebanese Source in U.S.: Israel Preparing Major Strike on Lebanon
Despite Israel's massive success with its deadly beeper campaign against Hezbollah, the terror organization has regrouped quickly and is now armed and ready to attack us.

A Lebanese source based in the United States has warned that Israel is planning to launch a strike on Lebanon with a force several times greater than anything the country has experienced to date.
The source says that even before yesterday's elimination of Hezbollah’s Chief of Staff, Israel was expected to act immediately after the Pope’s departure from the region, citing information reportedly obtained from the U.S. State Department.
According to the assessment, the barriers holding the situation in Lebanon in check are rapidly disappearing, and Israel is receiving broad international support for a limited but extremely powerful strike against Hezbollah.
Intelligence indicates that Hezbollah has successfully disrupted the Lebanese Army’s monitoring of its disarmament and is actively rebuilding its military capabilities, particularly its fleet of inexpensive but highly efficient drones.
The source adds that Washington’s patience has officially run out, and there is a consensus that there is no longer any way to prevent a new military campaign.
Despite this report, Israel has indicated that it isn't planning to attack Hezbollah as long as Hezbollah does not respond to Tabatabai's elimination, and that if they do, Israel will respond 'disproportionately'.
