As all of the IDF's combat formations advance into the Gaza Strip to try and end the war, the Israeli Navy is also hard at work providing reconnaissance and fire support to the soldiers.

Among the Navy's operations was announced in the IDF's recent statement:

"In a joint strike by the Southern Command, the IAF, the Intelligence Directorate, the Israeli Navy, and the ISA, the terrorist, Ahmad Osama Hassan Al-Lahwani, was eliminated. He served as an operative in Hamas's naval commando unit and infiltrated through the Kerem Shalom Crossing during the October 7th massacre.

"The IDF and the ISA will continue to operate against the Hamas terrorist organization in order to protect the civilians of the State of Israel."
