The IDF recently found a note in the handwriting of hostage Matan Tzangauker, who learned Arabic and whose handwriting was identified by his mother Einav.

According to a Haaretz report, the note was located in an extensive underground tunnel, which contained hostages who were killed, as well as Hamas senior leaders.

Defense officials believe other hostages wrote similar notes. They also reported that they found bottles containing urine with Matan's DNA, and they believe that the note was written before the other hostages in the tunnel were murdered.
