MK Predicts Bennett or Eisenkot Will Join Netanyahu
TA’AL MK Samir Ben Said said he believes that after the next election, either Naftali Bennett or Gadi Eisenkot will join a government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

TA’AL MK Samir Ben Said said he believes that after the next election, either Naftali Bennett or Gadi Eisenkot will join a government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Speaking on the Knesset Channel, Ben Said said: “Bennett or Eisenkot, one of the two will jump in with Netanyahu.”
According to Ben Said, Netanyahu may be able to persuade one of the leaders of the anti-Netanyahu bloc to join his coalition after the election, despite their current opposition to him.
The comment comes as polls show both Bennett and Eisenkot competing for leadership of the opposition camp. Eisenkot’s Yashar party has recently gained strength, while Bennett’s Beyachad party has lost momentum after previously leading the bloc by a wider margin.
Ben Said’s assessment also follows an i24NEWS interview in which Eisenkot was asked directly whether he would sit in a government with Netanyahu.
At first, Eisenkot said that Netanyahu is not fit to be prime minister and that after October 7 he must go home. When the interviewer pressed him for a simple yes or no answer, Eisenkot declined to give one.
“I do not want to give simple answers because life is complicated,” Eisenkot said.
That response has drawn attention because it left political room for interpretation, particularly as parties begin preparing for possible coalition scenarios after the election.
For now, both Bennett and Eisenkot are running as alternatives to Netanyahu. But Ben Said argued that once the votes are counted, one of them may decide to enter a Netanyahu-led government rather than remain in opposition.
