Two weeks before October 7, Southern Command received an incredible intelligence document, containing details about a prepared Hamas invasion that was accurate down to things like the number of hostages - but was ignored, according to Kann 11 News reporter Suleiman Maswadeh.

The document, entitled "Detailed Raiding Training From End to End," details the exercises the Nukhba forces underwent, which simulated raids on military outposts, kibbutzim, kidnapping of soldiers and civilians and primarily how to hold onto the hostages when returning to the Gaza Strip.

One of the truly inconceivable details in the document is the assumed number of hostages Hamas will take - 200-250. The document also included instructions on how to deal with hostages in extreme situations and even execute them.

For unknown reasons, IDF senior officers and commanders ignored the report.
