Lebanese hospitals are reportedly struggling to handle the thousands of injured, some critically, from the mass explosion of Hezbollah pagers in Lebanon. Jordan, Iraq, and Iran have all offered to provide medical aid and assistance to Lebanon to pick up the slack.

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi spoke to his Lebanese counterpart and condemned "Israel's targeting of Lebanese civilians" and offered either assistance or the flying of wounded to Iran for treatment to relieve the strain on Lebanese hospitals.

A short time ago (Tuesday), US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said that the United States was neither involved nor aware of the incident involving the mass explosion of Hezbollah pagers in Lebanon, wounding thousands and killing at least ten.

Miller said the United States was still "gathering information" and that they do not have any assessment to offer "one way or another" regarding culpability in the attack. He also said that the United States still wants to see the northern war resolved diplomatically.

Hezbollah has already issued an official declaration a short time ago (Tuesday), blaming Israel for the mass explosion of Hezbollah pagers which has killed at least nine and wounded about three thousand, according to Lebanese sources.

In the statement, Hezbollah said that "following investigations we conducted, we assign responsibility for what happened to the Israeli enemy. The criminal enemy will pay a fitting price for this aggression."
