In an extensive operation by the Shin Bet and the IDF throughout Judea, Samaria and Lebanon against the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization, more than 60 of the organization's operatives were detained.

This is part of an effort of the Shin Bet and the IDF to eradicate terrorism in Judea and Samaria, as the PFLP promotes various types of terrorist attacks against Israeli targets and is working to rehabilitate its infrastructure on the ground.

The PFLP is responsible for a number of significant terrorist attacks in recent years, operating throughout Judea and Samaria as well as in other arenas.

As part of the operation, more than 60 ISIS operatives engaged in terrorist activity were detained. Among the detainees were the directors of the PFLP's Association of Women's Committees, Abla Sa'adat Aa Rasool, wife of the organization's secretary general, Ahmed Sa'adat, imprisoned since 2006, and Tahrir Badran Gaber, a PFLP activist.

It should be noted that in 2021 the Association of Women's Committees was declared a terrorist organization and an illegal association in Judea and Samaria, due to its status as an arm of the PFLP.
