During the night (between Saturday and Sunday), Israeli Air Force aircraft attacked terrorists operating in a command and control compound in the area that was formerly used as the Musa Ibn Nasir school in the Darj Tafah area.

The command and control compound was used by Hamas terrorists to plan and carry out terrorist attacks against IDF forces and the State of Israel.

Prior to the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the chance of civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions, aerial observation and other intelligence information.

On Thursday, the IDF Spokesperson announced that Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked terrorists operating in command and control compounds in areas that were previously used as the "Al-Karama" and "Sha'ban" schools in Darj Tufah.

The IDF noted that "Hamas terrorists used the school compounds for terrorist activity, planning and carrying out terrorist acts against IDF and State of Israel forces."
